What early warning watches
Cancellation rate, target under 1%
Kaufland’s target is under 1%. Sellgrip warns from 0.5% when the rate is rising; that is Sellgrip’s own warning line, not a Kaufland limit.
Late shipments, Sellgrip benchmark 4%
Sellgrip’s own benchmark, because Kaufland measures late deliveries, not late shipments. Late shipments often end up as cancellations.
Ticket rate, Sellgrip benchmark 10%
Sellgrip’s own benchmark, not a Kaufland limit. Kaufland sets no target for the ticket rate across all tickets.
Days until the limit
Sellgrip fits a trend line through your data points. If the trend would take the rate to its limit within 90 days, it becomes a case.
How early warning works
-
Collecting data points
Sellgrip stores your account metrics after the sync, once a day. From two data points, it can calculate a trend.
-
Checking the trend
If a rate is above the warning level and getting worse, Sellgrip calculates when it will reach the limit. If the limit is already crossed, the case turns critical.
-
Acting in time
The case sits at the top of Alerts, with the value, direction and source of the limit. You click “Got it” and fix the cause.
Why early beats on time
Kaufland judges the cancellation rate for the completed calendar month. If you only look then, you are already paying the fee.
A rate rarely jumps overnight. It usually climbs for weeks, for example because an item is often out of stock.
- Kaufland: cancellation rate under 1%
- Between 1% and 2.99%, Kaufland charges 7% of the total price of the cancelled transactions; over 3% it is 15%. The cancellation rate calculator shows the amount for a month.
- No published block limit
- Kaufland does not publish a rate at which offers are hidden automatically. So Sellgrip does not predict a block.
- Sellgrip’s own benchmarks, labelled as such
- Where Kaufland names no figure, Sellgrip uses its own benchmarks. The dashboard shows where every limit comes from.

What you see in Sellgrip
- Account risk
- The case is called “Account risk” and is at the top of Alerts, in the “Account health” panel. It is a warning while the rate heads for the limit, and critical once past it.
- Value, direction, days
- The case names the current value, whether it is rising and how many days until it reaches the limit. The source of the limit sits below.
- Trend
- The cancellation rate of recent weeks as a line, with Kaufland’s target as a dashed line.
- No euro amount
- An early warning carries no amount. The possible fee sits in its own cancellation rate case in Alerts.
Questions about Early warning
Which plan includes early warning?
Business, including a 14-day Business trial. On Free and Pro, you see how many early warnings Sellgrip has found.
When does Sellgrip warn?
When a rate reaches the warning level, gets worse and would hit the limit within 90 days if the trend continues. The warning level is half the limit, and 80% of it for the ticket rate.
Why doesn’t Sellgrip warn about every wobble?
A trend that would only reach the limit in months is not a case. That keeps Alerts to what matters to you now.
Do all limits come from Kaufland?
No. Kaufland expects under 1% for the cancellation rate, under 1% for the adjusted seller-related ticket rate and at least 80% trackable shipments; the 10% for the ticket rate and the 4% for late shipments are Sellgrip’s own benchmarks.
What do I do with an early warning?
It is usually stock or shipping. Check the cancellations and late shipments of recent weeks in Orders.
Do early warnings also come by email?
Yes. With the daily email, an early warning is in your inbox in the morning, along with your other cases and in your language.
