Team and account
Everyone with their own login and the right role.
In Sellgrip, every person gets their own login instead of a shared password. The role decides what they may and may not do.

What team and roles cover
Three roles
Owner, Staff and Accounting. When you invite someone, each role says what it may and may not do.
Staff for the daily work
Shipping, cancellations, refunds, returns, tickets, invoices, prices, offers and costs. Billing, credentials and deleting the account stay with the owner.
Read-only for your accountant
All figures, reports and exports, including the accounting export. This role cannot change anything, not even tick off an alert.
History of changes
“Team changes” lists who invited, removed or changed the role of whom. Each entry has a date and names the person who did it.
No locking yourself out
The account always keeps at least one owner. Nobody can remove themselves; another owner does that.
Signed-in devices
Under “Account & security”, each person sees where they are signed in and when each device was last used. They sign out one device or all of them at once.
How to invite someone
-
Pick an email and a role
Under Settings, in the “Team” section, enter the email address and choose a role. Staff is preselected, not the role with the most rights.
-
Pass on the link
Sellgrip creates an invite link that is valid for 7 days and shown only once. If email sending is set up, it also goes out by email.
-
They set their own password
The invited person sets their own password through the link. A password never sits in an inbox.
Why a shared login is risky
Through Sellgrip, a login confirms shipping, cancels and refunds on Kaufland. If four people share one login, each of them can do everything, including delete the account.
With separate logins, everyone gets only the rights their work needs. Only an owner may change or disconnect the Kaufland connection.
Sellgrip checks the role on the server, not just in the interface. Anyone who may not take an action gets a sentence naming the role it needs.
Your accountant needs figures, not buttons. With the Accounting role, they pull reports without you handing out a password.
What you see in Sellgrip
- Team list
- Everyone with email, role, the date they joined and their number of active sessions. You change a role right in the row.
- Inviting someone
- Under “Invite someone”, a form with the email address and the three roles, each with a short description. Anyone who is not an owner sees a note instead.
- New link and removing
- “New link” creates a fresh invite for someone who has not set a password yet. “Remove” asks for confirmation first.
- Action log
- The “Log” section lists everything the account sent to Kaufland: shipping, refunds, returns, ticket replies, price and offer changes, product data, labels and promotions. Each line shows the time and the result. If Kaufland rejected something, Kaufland’s reason is shown with it.
- Team history
- Folded away under the list as “Team changes”: every invite, role change and removal with its date. It also says who made the change.
Questions about Team and roles
How many logins are included?
Free has 1 login, Pro 2 and Business 10, the owner included. For more logins, get in touch with us.
What if the team is bigger than the plan?
All existing logins keep working. Only new invites are not possible then.
Can my accountant download exports?
Yes. The Accounting role sees every figure and downloads exports, but cannot change anything.
The invite link has expired. What now?
“New link” creates a fresh invite, and the old link stops working. If the person has already set a password, they use “Forgot password?”.
Who may change the team?
Only owners. Everyone else sees the team list but cannot invite, change or remove anyone.
Can staff see the billing?
No. Billing, the Kaufland credentials and deleting the account are reserved for the owner.
