How the calculator works
The same arithmetic as the profit calculator and Sellgrip’s Pricing rules.
- Break-even
- The price at which nothing is left after VAT, commission, fixed fee, purchase price and shipping. Rounded up to the cent.
- Minimum profit
- The floor rises until at least this amount is left per unit. Without a minimum profit, the floor is the break-even.
- Just below
- 1 cent under the Buy Box price, 1 Kč in Czechia. This is a step in the calculation, not a Kaufland rule.
- Commission
- Kaufland charges commission on the gross price including shipping. The rate comes from Kaufland’s table per category.

Common questions
Why is the cheapest Buy Box not always the best?
Because the lower price applies to every unit you sell. If it is under your break-even, you lose money on every sale the Buy Box brings.
Does the shipping the buyer pays count?
Yes. It is part of your revenue and lowers your break-even, and Kaufland charges commission on it too.
Will I win the Buy Box at this price?
The calculator cannot tell; that is Kaufland’s decision. It only shows whether the price pays off for you.
